We are hoping to use this blog to create discussion among teachers at Lund University and beyond, about our experiences, concerns, tips & tricks, and more when it comes to teaching about sustainability. If you would like to contribute to this blog, please contact Mirjam Glessmer, we are excited to host guest posts!
We currently use the following post categories (but you are welcome to suggest topics outside of these, too):
- Event summaries. In “event summary” posts, we give brief summaries of events that we arranged or attended, and link to slides, videos, further reading, etc, whenever available.
- Experiences from the field. In “experiences from the field” posts, we introduce colleagues who want to connect on the topic of “teaching about sustainability”, or share teaching about sustainability that we or our colleagues have done or experienced, what about it we found inspiring, and how it might be transferrable to other contexts.
- How-to guides are very hands-on, practical examples of how someone (in the literature or in teaching here at LU) planned and/or conducted their teaching about a sustainability topic
- Literature. In “literature” posts, we summarise or discuss articles that influenced our thinking about teaching about sustainability, and share our thoughts on them.
